| LATEST NEWS: May 2008 After months of confinement to the practice room and a marathon stint in the studio, Left Side Brain finally emerge, blinking, into the sunlight and gagging to get back onstage. We are positively vibrating with excitement to announce our first gig in 8 months, which will be on June 20th at the Fleece in Bristol. It's been a hell of a long time since we've cranked out a live show, and I can assure you that we are frothing at the collective mouth at the prospect of releasing some pent up riffage into the ears of the unwashed in the manner to which we were once accustomed. We'll be airing plenty of new songs from the forthcoming and as yet untitled third LSB album (due out around November time) and running the risk of busted gut and sweat poisoning in the process. Call it a comeback? March 2008 Only a few weeks remain until work commences on the recording of Left Side Brain's third album, the follow-up to 2006's critically-acclaimed 'Action Potential'. Song details are currently under lock and key but the band promise that their third LP will be "the musical equivalent of getting your ears flicked clean off by the world's biggest, wettest and hairiest towel". Production details are being handled by knob-twiddler extroadinaire Neil Calderwood, the man behind both previous LSB albums. Once recording starts you can be sure of regular video and blog updates, direct from the rock coalface. Until that time you can caress your enormous swollen LSB nostalgia glands (sorry) by watching the first of a four-part film documenting the recording of 'Action Potential'. You can find it here. Look
out for news of further weekly instalments on the messageboard
or the LSB
Myspace page, along with further unreleased videos and MP3s from the
LSB archive. |
